Place Value Village
A couple of years ago, I made this video explaining how to use Place Value Village. I thought I would bring it to the front again for those who need a little help with the concept. The PVV is used throughout Books 1 – 3 of Math Lessons for a Living Education.
We are loving our lessons in math now that we have been using MLLE since 2013!! I created a FREE place value village for anyone to download to use with your math books.

In the book it says not to erase, but to leave the numbers on the number sheet to continue counting in the next lesson… How do you approach that? I run out of room pretty quickly.
In that instance, I would erase it and rewrite the last number of the day at the top of the mat to remind the student where they were. 🙂
