    Upcoming trip…

Hey, everyone, I want everyone to know that I am heading up to Alaska to visit my family up there. I will be gone until the beginning of August. Since there is not very good reception up there, I will not be available as much as usual. I will try to find some wifi to hop on sometime in the middle of the week. If I can, I will post some pictures!

    A new endeavor…

I just submitted my first podcast to the iTunes store! (I’ll keep everyone updated when it’s available.) I have to admit, I’m kind of nervous about this, but I also know that it’s something God has been asking me to step out and do. My first episode is an introduction to who I am, what I do, and the methods I use in my parenting, teaching, and writing. This first podcast is the beginning of a series, titled “Where the Rubber Meets the Road,” which I will be releasing over the next few weeks. Here are some of the other topics I will be talking about in this series: Being my…

  • Monthly Focus,  Uncategorized

    Scripture Focus

God’s Word is alive and active, sharper than a two-edged sword. Hebrews 4:12 I would love to be a group of women studying the Word together, praying for each other, and supporting each other as we all walk through this life together. Each month, I will post a new study focus, including Scripture reading, Scripture journaling, study suggestions, and maybe a podcasts of my thoughts about the study. Please join in! If you have something encouraging to share about your journey through the study, leave a comment. On the last day of each month, I will be sending out a newsletter, which will introduce the coming month’s Prayer/Study/Practical Work focus.…

    School planning

I broke down my school planning into 5 steps. As you will see, it is not a glamorous process. I hope that this encourages you! (hover over the Life Helps tab in the menu above – the steps are under the school planning tab)
